Chlorine and Sulphur Dioxide Cylinders are a hazardous material. Due to the nature of these products, the type of packaging they are shipped in, along with the need to stay current with DOT regulations, it is imperative to supply all full and partial cylinder returns to Coyne Chemical with a cylinder number attached for proper identification. This is not only a DOT requirement, but a concern for the safety and well-being of all those involved in the handling of these cylinders.
The photo below will help you to identify the proper number associated with the cylinder in question. The correct number is located on the blue tag affixed to the collar of each cylinder. That number is required on all paperwork for each pick-up and return.
By adhering to the proper identification for each cylinder will provide all parties with the necessary information to help process your request in the most expeditious manner.
When requesting the pick-up and return of any full or partial cylinder, for any reason, our Customer Service Representative will require this information. Please have it available when processing your request.
